In this month’s blog, using a tool from our executive coaching work, we will discuss a rather uncommon but highly effective tool to motivate, inspire, and endear your team. Every year at this time we have either purchased a gift basket or “jelly of the month club” certificates for our team members.
In many businesses, inventory is the largest part of your assets. The money you have earned or invested to support your company. Unfortunately, many companies find that they have inflated inventory numbers and have to make yearend adjustments that decrease their profitability.
All of us have experienced the unexpected financial crisis in our lives at one point or another. Sometimes they are minor and merely impact our disposable income for the week or month. Other times they are more significant and might require drawing from savings or using a credit vehicle.
It’s a great time of year, kids are back in school, fall in the air, football, apples, and more. Have you ever heard someone say, “if I could go back to my 20’s and know what I know now.”? No doubt we would likely make some different choices or certainly have more fun.

When it comes to business a trait that often separates those who “get by” from those who are truly successful is passion. An often deeply intense drive that moves them as individuals. This should not be confused with “Love”.
A topic we all know and hear about on a daily basis is the high cost of healthcare. Yet, the US has one of the greatest healthcare systems in the world and when the idea of socializing it comes up, there is revolt. Rightly so, as there are many issues with those systems.
